Who is Mazatlán Homes Real Estate?

Roger Culbertson was graduated from real estate schools in California and owned an electronic security company in northern California before retiring and moving to Mazatlan in 1986. After living here for several years and helping other Americans and Canadians find, buy and remodel homes here in Mazatlan, he joined the late Gonzalo Zayas at "Mar de Cortez Real Estate." Upon the passing of Sr. Zayas (who was one of the most experienced brokers in Mexico with over 30 years of experience) Mr. Culbertson started Mazatlan Homes in 2000. That makes Mazatlan Homes one of the oldest and most experienced brokerages in Mazatlan which is currently experiencing a phenomenal real estate boom. That gives Mazatlan Homes a wealth of experience in the "in's and out's" of the buying process here in Mexico. That gives you the buyer, and experienced staff to handle your very important transactions here in your new hometown. 

Martha Velarde has been with Mazatlan Homes since 2005. Prior to that, she had managed her own real estate agency and before entering real estate, she worked in the finance industry for several years. A native Mazatleca, she is also married to one of the best architects in Mazatlan so she has spent a great deal of time around homes that are in the remodeling process. She knows a lot about the process of renovations for homes here in Mazatlan.
