Introducing the Drive & Guide Tour Service—an association of English-speaking drivers who own their own vehicles. They are also certified by the Federal Tourism Department as qualified Tour Guides for Mazatlan.

These are suggestions only. Your guide will give you options and you decide where you'd like to go.

• Pick up at the Cruise Ship Dock or at your hotel.

• Enjoy a bird's eye view of Mazatlan from a great look-out point. Good overall orientation.

• Watch the cliff divers do their death-defying leap.

• View many popular monuments along the Malecon–one of the longest oceanside promenades in Mexico.

• Visit Olas Altas Bay–Mazatlan's original tourist area.

• In historic Old Town, visit the Cathedral, Main Square, and Central Market.

• Drive along several miles of expansive beaches.

• Visit the Gold Zone where the newer tourist hotels and restaurants are located.

• If you care to shop, your Driver will show you the best places in the heart of the Gold Zone.

Cruise Ship Visitors...

If you pre-book your Van using our easy online reservation form, we'll be waiting for you as you disembark your ship.

If you forgot to pre-book, look for our desk in the Cruise Ship Terminal. Although we frequently sell out, we'll try to accommodate you upon arrival. (We encourage pre-booking and even pre-payment!) Please read comments from our guests.

If you want to enjoy the sights and best shopping of Mazatlan, but without feeling you are part of a large bus crowd, this is the best option for you. Your guide will meet you with a late-model, roomy van at your hotel, at the cruise ship dock or at the airport. Our clean vans and Suburbans carry up to ten guests.

Our Driver/Guides usually use a microphone so everyone can hear the facts and history of Mazatlan...the "Pearl of the Pacific." They know just about everything there is to know about Mazatlan, so questions are encouraged.

This is YOUR tour. You tell us where to go! Vans are available for a standard 3-4 hour city tour, or can be rented by the day. Perfect if you desire to see everything, shop until you drop, or find that secluded beach for a picnic on your own.

There's a lot to explore outside Mazatlan as well. A popular side trip is to the quaint colonial town of Concordia, where you can see its famous furniture and pottery factories and shops.

City Sightseeing/Shopping Tour
Half Day: (3 1/2 hours) $180 price per van (carries up to 10 people)
Full Day: $220 price per van.

City/Country Combination
Full Day: $280 per van (carries up to 10 people). Includes travel as far as Concordia.

Country Full Day: $280 per van (carries up to 10 people). Includes travel as far as Concordia and Copala (but does not include a city tour).

Tequila Tour: $250 per van includes visiting La Noria where sandals, saddles and belts are handmade. You'll visit Osuna Tequila Factory producing Tequila.

Couples: Not traveling as a group, or don't want a private tour? Don't worry. We can also accommodate couples by accepting your reservation and matching you up with other couples on the same day. You pay just $25 per person for the standard City Tour and still enjoy the benefits of touring in your comfy van.

Payment: Since seats are limited, advance reservations are a must. We also HIGHLY recommend that you pre-pay for your tour to assure you won't be disappointed upon arrival. Especially cruise ship days we can sell out of all vans. After making your reservation, you'll be given the chance to pre-pay if you'd like the extra security.
